“Trump’s party doesn’t give a damn about Latinos”
According to Joe Biden, in a frontal electoral war, he said that the Trump’s party doesn’t give a damn about Latinos.
Biden’s warning has resounded in the ears of millions of Latinos living in the United States, saying that the Republican Party does not care about Latinos.
Biden launched this Saturday a strong message against the Republican Party, to which Donald Trump belongs, before his speech at the great convention of the American right wing CPAC.
Textually, Biden said that “Trump’s party doesn’t give a damn about Latinos“.
In a statement sent to EFE, the Hispanic media director of Biden’s campaign, Maca Casado, criticized the immigration proposals of Trump, favorite to be the Republican candidate in next November’s elections.
It should be noted that part of Donald Trump’s campaign is based on anti-immigrant rhetoric at his campaign rallies.
Trump has gone so far as to claim that migrants “poison” the blood of the country and has outlined plans ranging from mass deportations to the construction of giant detention centers to send migrants in irregular status in the United States.

Trump’s party doesn’t give a damn about Latinos: Really?
Another thing that makes Biden think the GOP doesn’t care about Latinos is once again separating migrant families at the border, as happened in Trump’s past administration.
“Just days ago, we learned of Donald Trump’s plan to separate more families, deploy combat soldiers to build mass detention camps and round up immigrants like cattle…. and he still thinks he can appeal to the Latino vote by making a futile attempt at CPAC?” Casado questioned in her statement.
The spokeswoman recalled that the former president, who governed the U.S. between 2017 and 2021, has “constantly demonized and criminalized Latinos for his political gain.”
“Trump used his time in the presidency to attack and despise the Latino community over and over again, he has repeated phrases of dictators and authoritarian leaders like a parrot… and has even said, on multiple occasions, that we immigrants are poisoning the blood of the country,” added Casado, who was born in Venezuela.
The spokeswoman went on to say that the Hispanic community knows the truth: “Trump’s party doesn’t give a damn about Latinos.”
Trump is scheduled to speak this Saturday at 12:00 local time (17:00 GMT) at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), a mega event that brings together politicians and activists of the far right and held at the National Harbor, in the state of Maryland, just outside Washington D.C.
During his speech, he is expected to reiterate his plans to execute what he has called the “largest deportation operation” in U.S. history, which is why Biden reiterated that the Republican party does not care about Latinos.
Trump has made it clear that he plans to invoke a series of laws passed by Congress in 1789, known as the Alien and Sedition Acts, which allow the government to arrest and deport “alien men of an enemy nation” in the event of war.
These laws could evoke scenes like those experienced in the United States in the 1950s, when some 1.3 million undocumented Mexican immigrants were deported under the presidency of Dwight D. Eisenhower (1953-1961), in what was the largest deportation operation in the country’s history.
