Alicia Machado defended Luis Miguel
Alicia Machado came to the defense of Luis Miguel when he became the target of criticism for his new physical appearance.
Luis Miguel’s return to the stage has been overshadowed by controversies and critiques he has found himself entangled in.
This time, the criticisms are aimed at his current physical appearance.
Now, Luis Miguel’s figure has become a topic of conversation as he looks entirely different from how the public saw him in 2015 and 2017 when he appeared with a noticeable weight gain.
Following the start of his tour earlier this August, public opinion once again began to question him.
Many assert that he looks excessively thin and worn out, to the extent that he appears to be unwell.
However, Alicia Machado defended Luis Miguel and criticized the backlash against the Mexican singer.

In an interview for the “Hoy” program, the former Miss Universe disapproved of the bullying Luis Miguel has been subjected to.
“It’s alright, Luis Miguel looks fabulous. People will always talk, judge, but what’s important is that you wake up every day, look at yourself in the mirror, and say, ‘I am content with myself just as I am’,” she said.
In her statement, she elaborated that over time, she has learned not to take critiques too seriously, as it’s when she’s attacked the most that she feels better about herself.
“When I am, as they say, curvy and beautiful, it’s when I have more admirers, when I feel more confident, jeans fit better…” she added.
Alicia Machado defended Luis Miguel and believes that his physical appearance is trivial compared to his musical talent.
It’s worth noting that in recent days, there have been rumors that “El Sol” had undergone bariatric surgery to lose weight.
Furthermore, speculation suggests that the doctor who allegedly performed the surgery, Argentine Cristian Pérez Latorre, explained that the procedure was purely for health reasons, as the artist had high glucose levels.
