There is tension in the Middle East due to the possible military confrontation between Israel and Iran; the world seeks to avoid this war escalation in the region.

In this regard, several airlines have cancelled their trips to Iranian territory and the governments of several countries have asked their citizens not to travel to the Middle East unless strictly necessary, all for fear of missile exchanges.
Tensions over the possible military confrontation between Israel and Iran arise after the attack by the Israeli army against the Iranian consulate in Syria, which killed seven members of the Revolutionary Guard, including two generals.
Now, Iran’s Revolutionary Guard has captured a vessel in the Persian Gulf, which is believed to be linked to Israel.
Through the official Iranian news agency Irna, the Iranian government has confirmed the seizure of the vessel and its transfer to its territorial waters.
“A container ship named MCS Aries was seized by special maritime forces” as part of “an operation carried out with a helicopter near the Strait of Hormuz,” Irna said.

In addition, the news agency noted that the ship has a “Portuguese flag and [is] operated by the Zodiac company, belonging to Zionist capitalist Eyal Ofer.”
On the other hand, the UK military earlier claimed that a vessel may have been boarded by unknown persons near the crucial Strait of Hormuz.
The Maritime Trade Operations agency, which is part of the British military, offered no further details about the incident in the Gulf of Oman near the strait.
The seizure of this vessel raises the military standoff between Israel and Iran.
The seizure of this Israel-linked vessel comes days after the attack by the Israeli army on the Iranian consulate in Syria, of which Mohammad Bagheri, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, noted that an aftershock “will be given at the right time, with the necessary precision and planning, and with maximum damage to the enemy to make him regret his action”.
Furthermore, during the burial ceremony of one of the two Revolutionary Guard generals, Bagheri singled out the United States as “the biggest accomplice in this crime.”
“The main responsibility for the Damascus incident and the crimes committed by Israel lies with the U.S. and it must answer,” he added.
Regarding the military confrontation between Israel and Iran, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken warned Egypt’s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry on Friday, April 12, that an escalation by Iran “would benefit no one in the region”.
State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said Blinken called his Egyptian counterpart and also the Turkish, Chinese and Saudi foreign ministers “to make clear that escalation is in no one’s interest, and that countries should urge Iran not to escalate.”
Blinken and Shoukry discussed multilateral efforts to promote regional stability, including achieving a cease-fire in Gaza and “moving forward on a path toward a Palestinian state with security guarantees for Israel,” Miller said.
