In Argentina, there will be a runoff, but with Sergio Massa ahead of Javier Milei, who will now need to gather allies.

The candidate from Union for the Homeland, Sergio Massa, will compete for the Presidency against the representative of Liberty Advances, Javier Milei, in the runoff on November 19th.

With 96.87% of the polling stations counted, the Minister of Economy is the leading candidate with 36.57% of the votes.

Milei is in second place with 30.04%, and he will face Massa in the second round.

The key now lies with Patricia Bullrich, the representative of Together for Change, who finished third, far behind the top two, with 23.85%.

The results indicate a strong recovery for the ruling party compared to the primary elections when they finished third with 27.28%. They also confirm a setback for Together for Change, which lost almost five percentage points. Voter turnout reached 77.65%.
