Beyonce’s song Freedom: The Kamala Harris Issue

Beyonce’s song Freedom seems to be the most used song in Kamala Harris’ campaign, and apparently, they already have the green light to use it.

With Joe Biden out of the way for the U.S. elections, all eyes are on Kamala Harris, so far, she is the virtual candidate by obtaining the majority of Democratic votes pending the special convention.

Now, an unexpected alliance has been confirmed between the Democratic candidate and pop star Beyoncé.

Beyonce’s song Freedom was used in Kamala Harris’ performance at an official event.

This is not the first time Beyoncé has connected with a Democratic candidate.

But it does show an openness never seen before in relation to her art, now with Beyonce’s song Freedom.

Incumbent Vice President Kamala Harris visited her campaign headquarters for the first time Monday night and surprised everyone by walking in to Beyoncé’s song Freedom.

A source close to Harris confirmed to CNN that they got Beyoncé’s approval to use the song throughout the presidential campaign.

Beyoncé is known for maintaining strict clearance conditions around her music. Yet, in this case, the approval came just hours after the request was made on Monday.
