In the past few hours, Maluma confirmed at a concert he held in Washington the news that he will be the father of a girl they will name Paris.
This news has led to getting to know a bit more about Maluma’s girlfriend, Susana Gómez, with whom he has been in a relationship for nearly three years.
The artist shared the music video for “Procura,” his new single dedicated to his partner, on a giant screen, where he confirmed at the end that they are expecting their first daughter.
He also included the reactions of their families and the first ultrasounds they had.
“Our love story,” Maluma wrote in the video’s caption, along with their initials, his girlfriend’s, and the name of the baby on the way, Paris.
This is because the video revealed the gender reveal party that took place at the penthouse of The Edge in New York City.
Future Mother of Maluma’s Daughter
The first rumors of the romance between Maluma and the young woman surfaced at the end of 2020 when they were seen together on several occasions.
Maluma officially confirmed their relationship in 2021, but she didn’t show her face in public, and he didn’t tag her on social media.
They prioritized this to maintain a low profile and keep their relationship private, although they live together, travel together, and do everything together.
According to Teleshow, the future mother of Maluma’s daughter is an architect, and they were friends for a long time, as they shared a group of mutual acquaintances.
In other words, there was a friendship between them before love blossomed. Even in the artist’s statement at the beginning of the “Procura” video, it’s clear that they already had a connection.
Susana Gómez, the mother of Maluma’s daughter, is 29 years old, Colombian, and an architect. She currently runs a jewelry business called Sileo in Colombia and Miami, and she will be a mother for the first time with the Paisa singer.
Similar to Maluma, the mother of Maluma’s daughter was previously in relationships with other people and even got married to a businessman from her own country, but they divorced in 2021.
She then began a relationship with Maluma, and they became inseparable.
During Colombia Moda in 2022, held in Medellín, Maluma launched a clothing collection in collaboration with the French brand GEF and his foundation, “El arte de los sueños.”
During a press conference about the launch, the artist confessed that one of his greatest desires was to meet someone to fulfill a role he hadn’t experienced in his life so far.
“A dream I have yet to fulfill is to be a father, have many children, and start a family.
I’m very family-oriented, and if it’s God’s will, it will happen at some point,” commented the artist who has now confirmed that he will be the father of a girl.
