Gloria Trevi’s series, “Ellas soy yo,” airing on the Mexican channel Las Estrellas, sheds light on some aspects of the artist’s life that were previously unknown, including her first boyfriend.
While her relationship with the producer Sergio Andrade, who is also the father of her son Ángel Gabriel, is publicly known, it has now come to light that Gloria had an innocent teenage romance.
According to a publication by Radio Fórmula, which follows the story told in “Ellas soy yo,” Gloria Trevi met a young man named Javier Molina with whom she had a youthful romance.
In the series, Gloria Trevi’s first boyfriend is portrayed by actor Sian Chiong; however, the biographical series does not provide many details about the first man in the artist’s life.

This led YouTuber and journalist Mich Rubalcava, producer of the Michismecito program, for his El Mich TV channel, to dig deeper into the story.
He managed to find the real first love of Gloria Trevi, the boyfriend she had before her relationship with Sergio Andrade.
His real name is Erick Hassel, and in some way, he was connected to the entertainment world. He is the brother of retired actress Gabriela Hassel, who appeared in the youth series “Agujetas de color de rosa.”
In the interview with Mich, he mentioned that he had seen some excerpts from the series and that he did indeed meet Gloria Trevi at a party, as portrayed in “Ellas soy yo.”
Erick recalled that their relationship took place 40 years ago, specifically in 1983, the year he met Trevi before her career took off.
“That was 40 years ago, in ’83; I would have been around 19, and Gloria had just turned 16. It was something very much between her and me,” he recalled during the video call as he currently resides outside of Mexico.
According to his testimony, Gloria Trevi wanted to become a filmmaker, but he says she gave up many things.
Before concluding the interview, he admitted that he never saw Sergio Andrade mistreating Gloria Trevi, and she never told him about it either, as he would have intervened had it happened.
“If I had seen it, I would have acted immediately. I surely would have done something about it,” said the man who has been happily married for 27 years.
