The opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympic Games

The opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympic Games is one of the most eagerly awaited moments, with the participation of thousands of athletes from all over the world.

The host of the Olympic Games closed the long list of 206 countries that will participate in various competitions until August 11.

The Gauls came in behind the United States and Australia, which will host the next Games (Los Angeles 2028 and Brisbane 2032).

The opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympic Games is underway in Paris, hours after a “coordinated sabotage” of France’s high-speed train lines caused travel chaos.

The opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympics was held on the banks of the Seine River: the first time the ceremony has not taken place inside a stadium.

The organizers claim that the show must go on, and not even the cold, torrential rain was able to dampen a series of epic performances.

Lady Gaga, heavy metal group Gojira, the bells of Notre Dame and nods to France’s revolutionary past were all part of the dizzying spectacle.

Nearly 10,500 athletes from more than 200 National Olympic Committees and the IOC’s Refugee Olympic Team will take part in 329 events at the Games, which run through Aug. 11.
