Ivy Queen Reinvented Her Hits
Ivy Queen reinvented her hits by presenting her Tiny Desk this Wednesday, where her classic songs were reimagined with string instrumentation, a synthesizer, and even a Bad Bunny candle.
The queen of reggaeton, Ivy Queen, reinvented her hits and took part in NPR’s broadcast, accompanied by five musicians. She stepped away from the background tracks, dancers, and lights to make way for an intimate and highly enjoyable session.
The Puerto Rican singer took a journey through five of her most recognized songs in her repertoire. However, she didn’t forget her sense of humor and humility as she acknowledged her audience, which has supported her even in the most difficult moments.
Ivy Queen reinvented her hits after about three decades in the music industry, demonstrating complete mastery and a strong connection with her live audience.
