Throughout Saturday, residents of the border communities appealed through television channels for security forces to come to their aid amid a massive infiltration of Hamas terrorists, according to The Times of Israel.
In this regard, Jerusalem’s deputy mayor, Fleur Hassan-Nahoum, told Infobae, “Many Hamas terrorists infiltrated, entering homes, killing, and kidnapping.”
Lior Haiat, spokesperson for the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that the wave of brutal Hamas attacks that began this morning in Israel is a reaction to the peace processes that Israel has been building with several Arab nations.
Some of these conversations include the Abraham Accords with the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Morocco, as well as the dialogues sponsored by the United States with Saudi Arabia.
“There is a peace process in the Middle East, and while the leaders of Arab countries want peace, there is a terrorist group inspired and funded by Iran that wants to disrupt any possibility of peace. Hamas seeks violence, terrorism, and misery,” he said in dialogue with Infobae.
