The new weapon of the Chinese: Robot dogs with rifles in China
An image that has gone around the world are the robot dogs with rifles in China; which would be used by the army.
The robot dogs with rifles in China is an adaptation of robotics to the modern battlefield.
During recent military exercises with Cambodia, the robot dogs with rifles in China were shown.
Basically, the robots appear with an automatic rifle mounted on their back, essentially turning these inventions into a killing machine.
“It can serve as a new member in our urban combat operations, replacing our (human) members to conduct reconnaissance and identify the enemy and attack the target,” says a soldier identified as Chen Wei in a video on state broadcaster CCTV.

The two-minute video taken during the China-Cambodia “Golden Dragon 2024” exercise also shows the rifle-wielding robot dogs in China walking, jumping, lying down and moving backwards under the control of a remote operator.
In one exercise, the robot dogs with rifles in China are part of an infantry unit to a simulated building.
The last part of the video also shows an automatic rifle mounted underneath a six-rotor aerial drone, illustrating what the video says is China’s “variety of unmanned intelligent equipment.”
China’s military use of robot dogs with rifles is nothing new.

A CCTV video from last year also highlighted China’s rifle-armed electronic canines in a joint exercise involving the Chinese, Cambodian, Laotian, Malaysian, Thai and Vietnamese militaries held in China last November.
In 2020, the U.S. Air Force demonstrated how it uses robotic dogs as a link in its Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS), which uses artificial intelligence and rapid data analysis to detect and counter threats to U.S. military assets.
And since the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, drones have become commonplace on the battlefield, on land, at sea and in the air, with inexpensive remotely controlled vehicles capable of destroying sophisticated military machines such as tanks and even warships.
For their part, the lethal capabilities of drones seen on Ukrainian battlefields have proven to be great equalizers, allowing military forces with small defense budgets to compete with substantially better armed and funded enemies.
China is one of the world’s leading exporters of drones, but last year its Ministry of Commerce imposed export controls on drone technology.
