The NBA 2024 champion defeated the Dallas Mavericks 106-88 to seal the final series 4-1 and coincided in the calendar with the previous conquest: June 17.

That time in 2008, and this time in 2024.

In addition, the 2024 NBA champion, once again single-handedly tops the list of teams with the most NBA titles, and its formidable duo of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown showed up in a big way to make it happen.

After 16 years of waiting, the Boston Celtics once again lifted the NBA championship trophy on Monday with a 106-88 victory over the Dallas Mavericks. The game took place at the TD Garden in Boston.

The NBA 2024 Champion: On Offense

Celtics star Tatum scored 31 points, along with 11 assists and eight rebounds, while teammate Brown added 21 points, eight rebounds and six assists.

After accepting the Bill Russell Trophy in front of this fan base, Brown credited part of his success to Tatum, who also earned MVP honors.

After finishing the season with the NBA’s best record (64-18), the Celtics’ dominance continued in the playoffs with a franchise-record 10-game winning streak.

In the first round, the Celtics disposed of the Miami Heat 4-1, avenging their loss in a rematch of the 2023 Eastern Conference Finals.

Boston then swept the Cleveland Cavaliers 4-1, securing their third consecutive appearance in the conference finals, a feat last accomplished during their five-year streak from 1984-1988.
