A telephone outage in the United States has worried thousands of users across the country, where several companies are experiencing similar failures.

A telephone outage in the United States has been reported by cell phone users who are experiencing service outages.

Providers such as AT&T and Cricket Wireless are reporting outages Thursday morning in places such as Miami, Houston, Atlanta and Chicago.

Several users in the United States are dealing with cell phone outages at AT&T, Cricket Wireless, Verizon and other service providers, according to data from Downdetector.

AT&T had more than 60,000 outages this morning, in locations including Miami, Houston, Atlanta and Chicago.

In context, with this company alone, the phone outage in the United States affects thousands, as with the company there are 240 million subscribers, the largest in the country.

“Some of our customers are experiencing wireless service interruptions this morning. We are working urgently to restore service to them. We encourage the use of Wi-Fi calling until service is restored,” AT&T said in a statement.

Meanwhile, in the midst of telephone outage in the United States, another company affected is Cricket Wireless.

Cricket Wireless had more than 13,000, the outage-tracking website said Thursday.

Another of those affected by the U.S. phone outage is Verizon, which had more than 4,000 outages.

While T-Mobile, in the midst of the U.S. phone outage, had more than 1,900.

Although T-Mobile claims it did not experience any outages.

“Our network is operating normally. Down Detector likely reflects the challenges our customers had when trying to connect with users on other networks,” T-Mobile explained.

For its part, Boost Mobile had approximately 700 outages.

Despite this, Verizon explained that the outages are not coming from its exchange, but those who need to communicate with other companies.

“Verizon’s network is operating normally. Some customers experienced problems this morning when calling or texting customers served by another carrier. We continue to monitor the situation,” Verizon said.

So far no reason has been given for the suspension of service.

The U.S. phone outage was reported Thursday in the United States by users of AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon, Reuters reported.

Reuters cited Downdetector.com showing the number of AT&T outages peaked at 31,931 around 4:40 a.m.

“More than 800 service outages from U.S. wireless carriers Verizon VZ.N and T-Mobile TMUS.O were also reported on the platform,” Reuters reported on telephone outage in the United State.

“Some of our customers are experiencing wireless service outages this morning. We are working urgently to restore service to them. We encourage the use of Wi-Fi calling until service is restored,” an AT&T spokesman said.

U.S. Sen. Rick Scott, R-Florida, also commented on the issue on X, saying that “Florida law enforcement is doing everything they can to keep people safe, and I hope AT&T will keep us updated on what they are doing to get 911 services back online as soon as possible”.
