Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico

The 72nd edition of Miss Universe, which concluded with the crowning of Sheynnis Palacios from Nicaragua as Miss Universe 2023, has left the organizers in full preparation for the upcoming Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico.

The event, held on Saturday, November 18, 2023, surprised everyone as the hosts announced that Mexico would be the host country for Miss Universe 2024.

Danilo Carrera, one of the presenters, enthusiastically shared the news, revealing that the next edition would take place on September 28, 2024, in Mexican lands.

Mexican entrepreneur Raúl Rocha Cantú backed this announcement through a video, expressing his pride and extending a global invitation to explore Mexico.

“I am proud to announce that the new venue for Miss Universe 2024 is Mexico. I invite the world to enjoy Mexico through its gastronomy, culture, music, and charming tourist places. Miss Universe, Mexico welcomes you warmly.”

Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico: More Changes

In addition, significant adjustments were confirmed for the Miss Universe 2024 edition.

Starting this year, participants can be between 18 and 28 years old as of January 1 of the year they will compete, eliminating the upper age limit that was in effect until now, considering the requests made by contestants regarding this rule.

With the outstanding victory of Sheynnis Palacios and the promise of a next edition in Mexican territory with innovations, Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico continues to be a showcase highlighting the beauty, diversity, and strength of women worldwide.

Miss Universe is an international beauty pageant held since 1952.

The first edition took place on June 28 of that year in Long Beach, California, United States. Since then, the contest has been an annual event bringing together women from different countries to compete in various categories evaluating their elegance, grace, and personality.
