For Milei: López Obrador is an ignoramus
For Milei, López Obrador is an ignoramus, as he said in an interview for CNN; both are presidents of two of the strongest nations in Latin America.
Although Argentina’s present is not at all flattering, Javier Milei, President of Argentina, has objected that it is an honor to be disqualified by an ignoramus like the President of Mexico.
The President of Argentina, Javier Milei, spoke on CNN en Español with Andrés Oppenheimer, in an interview for his show Oppenheimer Presenta.
During the conversation, the right-wing president gave his definitions of key issues for the region and the world.
Milei directed harsh words against the president of Mexico and Colombia.
The Argentinean president said that Andrés Manuel López Obrador is an ignoramus.
When asked about comments made about him by both the president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, and the candidate of the ruling party in the upcoming elections, Claudia Scheinbaum, the economist was tacit.
“It is flattering that an ignoramus like López Obrador speaks ill of me, it exalts me”.

For Milei, López Obrador is an ignoramus.
For Milei, López Obrador is an ignorant, but it is already a war of microphones since the Argentinean’s candidacy.
The crosses between Milei and López Obrador are not a novelty. On more than one occasion, the Mexican president has criticized the Argentinean’s positions and even compared him to dictators.
Milei also targeted his Colombian counterpart, Gustavo Petro. Referring to his past as a guerrilla fighter.
But for Milei, not only López Obrador is ignorant, but he also called the president of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, a terrorist.
“Much cannot be expected from someone who was a terrorist murderer”.
It is not the first time that Milei refers to Petro with these adjectives and, in this sense, the Colombian embassy previously expressed its repudiation to this type of statements.
The interview, which lasted about 50 minutes, left other relevant titles.
It is public knowledge the great affinity of the president of Argentina with Israel.

Position on Israel
In this regard, Milei also spoke about the questioning of the actions of Benjamin Netanyahu’s government following the Hamas attacks.
“Israel is not committing a single excess,” Milei said. This comes during the same week that the United States failed, for the first time, to veto a UN Security Council resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire and the unconditional release of all Gaza hostages.
CNN has contacted the governments of Colombia and Mexico for a reaction to the Argentinean president’s accusations, but did not get a response so far.
This Sunday at 9 p.m. Miami time (10 p.m. Buenos Aires time), the full interview with Milei on Oppenheimer Presenta, on CNN en Español.
So far, there has been no response from López Obrador, a president who has been controversial about his positions from the left.
The most recent interview López Obrador gave was to CBS’ 60 Minutes. Among the topics discussed by the president were the migration crisis between Mexico and the United States, the production of fentanyl, violence in Mexico and he responded to what he believes his legacy will be after his term in office.
