The best Mexican companies in road safety in 2023

The National Private Transport Association assessed the best Mexican companies in road safety in 2023.

For the twenty-fourth consecutive year, the National Private Transport Association evaluated Mexican companies in road safety. The information was provided by Iris López, Communication Manager, and she estimates that this sector is an invaluable treasure that protects everyone’s lives.

On this occasion, the award ceremony took place at the Campo Marte Casino, where operators, companies, and individuals who employ best practices in prevention and maintain a track record of zero accidents and/or administrative infractions were recognized.

The best Mexican companies in road safety were honored for their commitment to enhancing life, professionalism, and dedication to making a difference and being the heroes of the road.

In his address, Leonardo Gómez, CEO of the National Private Transport Association, welcomed the operators, their families, and companies.

He stated that this celebration is to “honor those who, for more than 28 years, have colored the roads and streets of our country with passion and sacrifice.”

Subsequently, a conference was held by Eduardo Garza, who provided tools for living grateful and prepared to adapt to change, open up to new possibilities, and understand that in life, there is always something to understand or learn, and what we know today can be flexible.

Among the best Mexican companies in road safety in 2023, Grupo Bimbo, El Palacio de Hierro, Almex, Zinergia, Jumex, Autotransportes Pilot, Barcel, Lala, Cemex Concretos, among others, stood out.

In total, there was participation from more than 1,200 operators from over 20 companies, who were awarded along with their families.

Best Mexican companies in road safety in 2023

The awards were divided into four categories: First Place, Second Place, Third Place, and the Hall of Fame.

The Hall of Fame is a recognition given only to those who have driven for more than thirty years without serious accidents or administrative infractions, have obtained at least three consecutive first places in some category of the National Road Safety Award, and continue working in their company, even if they are no longer actively driving, as many of them are now instructors.

Other companies also stood out among the best Mexican companies in road safety.

In the Hall of Fame, Solística stood out by having the highest number of awarded operators, totaling 11.

On the other hand, both Pilot and Fletes Hesa had two awarded operators each, while Cementos Mexicanos had one awarded operator.

Among these awarded companies, Grupo Bimbo stood out, being recognized as the first company in Mexico to certify its comprehensive road safety model in the ISO 39001 Road Traffic Safety Management System standard.

Additionally, approximately 21,600 employees of the company have been awarded by the ANTP in the last seven years.”
